Relief printmaking. Each image (below) is hand made using oil based inks. The lino block is carved by hand and each colour is printed successively using techniques such as multi-block printing or reductive printing (where each layer is carved from the same lino block, destroying the block in the process, so only one print or edition can be created.) The images are printed on Japanese archival-grade paper, printed by either hand burnishing or using a wooden hand press.
